LIMITED WARRANTY

Oysterdock offers a limited warranty for the Oyster you purchased and used in the United States. Oysterdock warrants that the enclosed Oyster hardware (excluding the USB hub and power supply) will be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of sale, provided you are the original end-user of the product and that the product was delivered to you in new condition in its original container. Oysterdock warrants the USB hub and power supply (excluding the Oyster hardware) will be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.

 

Oysterdock shall, at its sole and absolute discretion, either repair or replace Oyster if found by Oysterdock to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period. Oysterdock shall not be responsible for incidental or special damages concerning this product. Oysterdock shall only be responsible for the repair or replacement of the Oyster as set forth in this limited warranty.

 

This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the product, and does not apply in the following cases: Damage to product due to abuse, mishandling, alteration, accident, maintenance, shipping and failure to follow operating instructions prescribed in the Oyster instruction manual.

Cosmetic damage or defect.

Damage to other products while using Oyster including, but not restricted to, laptop computers (compatible or incompatible with Oyster), electronic devices, office furniture, keyboards, etc.

Damage resulting from fire, flood, acts of God or other acts which are not the fault of Oysterdock.

Loss of or damage to programs, records or data.

Oyster does not guarantee or provide that Oyster laptop stand will provide a user with any stated health benefit.  Any ergonomic benefit depends on the end user placing the Oyster in the correct position/height  on the desktop, positioning the chair and keyboard in the correct position and using proper ergonomic health guidelines such as those available at : http://ergo.human.cornell.edu/ergoguide.html.
